Abstract:In 2005, the first year of Bush's second term, the U.S. global strategy entered a new era of adjustment and intensification after four years' practice. As Bush won his reelection with an overwhelming advantage, he was so ambitious that his mind was preoccupied with desire of leaving political and diplomatic heritage to the future. However, a series of challenges and problems popped up and forced him to adapt his foreign strategy to the rapidly changing domestic and international environment. His foreign strategy, ranging from its priorities, means to style, has experienced changes with stronger conservative and realistic flavor.
