Chronology of Key Events In Sino-Pakistani Relations

On May 21,1951, China and Pakistan established diplomatic relations. In April 1955, Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai held talks with Pakistani Prime Minister M. Ali during the Bandung Conference in Indonesia, and both sides agreed that bilateral ties should be strengthened. In October 1956, at the invitation of the Chinese Government, Pakistani Prime Minister H.E.Sulawadi paid an official visit to China.
