| 摘 要： | 词语所承载的意义不仅包含它的概念意义,还包含它的社会文化色彩和情感内涵。国俗语义是语义民族性的一种表现。英汉两种语言中颜色词语的国俗语义相同性很小。英汉颜色词语在社会属性、情感和心理方面存在差异,英汉颜色词语国俗语义缺项。

| Abstract: | In addition to denotations, words carry connotations-the rich cultural and emotional meaning resulting from the unique characteristics of a particular culture. The national connotations of color terms in English and Chinese are quite different. The true meanings of these culturally-loaded words can only be understood by extending our views beyond the conventional dictionary definitions. From the perspective of definitions of the national connotations, this paper aims at the contrastive analysis of color terms in English and Chinese in order to arouse much attention in culture teaching. |
