证人保护机制浅析

我国法律明文规定，出庭作证是证人的一项义务．可事实上证人出庭作证比率非常低。如何提高证人出庭作证比率是急需解决的一个问题。由于缺乏对证人的有效保护机制，使得证人不愿、不敢出庭作证，即使作证后也长期处于恐慌之中，其人身安全受到威胁、伤害甚至危及生命，其正常的家庭生活从此不得安宁。只有通过建立完善的具有可操作性的证人保护机制，才能打消证人的后顾之忧，让其大胆出庭作证。
