Constructing a Strategic Peripheral Belt to Support the Wings of China＇s Rise

Throughout world history there were both successful and unsuccessful experiences in the rise of major powers. To realize strategic rise, a political power must have as a strategic support a relatively reliable surrounding belt. Through an analysis of four important cases, this historical experience can be elevated to a consensus in the theory of international politics, specifically relevant for China at this moment in time.
