The article has explored the question as to how to recognize the fresh changes of current capitalism proceeding from the basic experience of socialist movement in the world that our correct recognition of the freshchanges of capitalism with a scientific method directly concerns the rise and fall of socialism. It points out: Stalin has failed to recognize and therefore cannot face up the new changes of current capitalism, obstructing a recognition of and struggle against it in practice; Gorbachev has described the new changes as the fundamental changes of capitalism in quality ,negated the basic concept and way of thinking in differentiating socialism from capitalism, readily conducted integration with the Western world,acting as a willing servant of the capitalist tactics for its peaceful evolution.
