| Abstract: | Idiom is a fixed expressing way which formed in the course of using language. English and Chinese idioms carry different national and cultural characteristics and cultural information. They are closely connected with cultural traditions and cannot be separated. Therefore it is important for us to conclude, to prove and to analyze the forms of English and Chinese idioms in detail. That is beneficial to understand the difficult cultural elements in translation. |
