Scene Investigation and Forensic Medical Examination of High Falling Case

High failing is one of the most common types of cases in the practice of police and forensic experts. The nature of high falling cases could be homicide, suicide or accident, among which the latter two are more frequent. Due to the feature of sudden falling from high, usually there is no witness and little reliable traces and evidence, making it difficult to determine the nature of high falling cases. Based on the cases from forensic practice, this paper gave a thorough elaboration on how to inves- tigate the failing point, the falling space, the horizontal migration distance and the failing end objectively, how to perform a systematic forensic examination, and how to carry out an in-depth survey.
