The Transition from the Revolutionary Party to the Ruling Party

The Chinese Communist Party is going through a transition period after ninety years’ hard work. The problem that Chinese Communist Party transforms from the revolutionary party to the ruling party has been a focus of academia. The transition logic, methods and performance have a profound impact on China’s political path chosen and the country’s development. This paper tried to identify the basic characterization and understand the basic framework of the CPC through analysis of the report of the Party Congress and the text of previous Party Constitution after the CPC was in power.
