The key for the Communist Party in its consistent compliance with requirements for representing the advanced productive forces in China is its adhering to the law of development of productive forces. The important thinking of "Three Represents" stresses demand on development of advanced productive forces. It means that our Party must pay special attention to the study of the law concerning self- development of productive forces, conscientiously master the law of contradictions during the period of socialism called for by the growth of the advanced productive forces, therefore understands the unity of the development of productive forces and the overall development of the human being from the view point of the practice of the materialistic concept, always aiming at the target of development of "taking people as the fundamental factor".
