On the Relationship between Hans Urs von Balthasar and Christian Mysticism

Mysticism in Hans Urs von Balthasar's works is not simply the duplicate of the old tradition of Christian Mysticism,but the dramatic contemporary amendment of it.Through reforming the individualism and negativism of traditional mysticism which focuses on the process of human soul of ascending up to union with the transcendental by his Christ-centralist theology,Balthasar emphasized on earthly-existence,communality and aestheticism of mystic experience of Christians,which gave a new look to Christian Mysticism in contemporary context.
