Clinical Effect of Hemorrhoids- Fistula Lotion Combined with Modified Surgical Treatment for Anal Fistula: An Analysis of 30 Cases

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of hemorrhoids- fistula lotion combined with modified surgical treatment for anal fistula. Methods A total of 60 patients with anal fistula were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The patients in the observation group received modified surgical treatment and fumigation- washing sitz bath with hemorrhoids- fistula lotion after surgery, and those in the control group received modified surgical treatment and fumigation- washing sitz bath with potassium permanganate solution after surgery. The two groups were compared in terms of the scores of pain, edema, and exudation on days 3 and 7 after surgery, wound healing time, size of postoperative wound scar, and clinical outcome. Results Both groups had significant reductions in the scores of edema and exudation from day 3 to day 7 after surgery (P<0.05), and there were no significant differences in the scores of pain, edema, and exudation between the two groups on days 3 and 7 after surgery (P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group had a significantly shorter wound healing time (P<0.05) and a significantly smaller postoperative wound scar (P<0.05). There was a significant difference in clinical outcome between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Hemorrhoids- fistula lotion combined with modified surgical treatment has a marked clinical effect in the treatment of anal fistula.
