The Status and Function of Ecological Agriculture in Rural Eco-Environmental Protection

Strengthening the rural eco-environmental protection is the vital guarantee to realize the rural eco- logical civilization construction. As an organic component of the national economy, the ecological agriculture is the foundation of ecological civilization, the guarantee of rural environment protection, and the effective way to the sus- tainable development of agriculture. The author argues that to promote the ecological civilization is the fundamental solution to tackle the unsustainable issues affecting the agricultural and rural development of our country. The au- thor also raises the solution with respects to the policy, laws and regulations, technological support, operating mechanism and effective publicity to boost the development of the domestic ecological agriculture.
