| 摘 要： | 印度法制现代化是一个全面移植西方法的过程,英国法的引入推动了印度法制现代化的进程。法律移植通过为印度近代社会注入民主、自由、平等、权利等现代化基本精神促进印度社会转型的同时,对解决社会陋习等方面问题显得有些力不从心,传统文化的许多消极因素仍然困扰着印度社会及其诸多民众,贫穷、压迫和腐败依然存在,全面实现社会平等、自由仍然任重而道远。
