| 摘 要： | 艺术教育属美育的范畴，是全面素质教育中的一个重要组成部分，对学生的全面发展起着不可替代的作用。现在，越来越多的高校已充分认识到艺术教育的重要性，但作为培养未来人民警察的公安院校，艺术教育却裹足不前。因此，有必要对艺术教育的概念、中西方历代教育对艺术教育重要性的认识，以及艺术教育在公安院校素质教育中的作用进行探索。在此基础上，针对公安院校艺术教育的现状，对公安院校艺术教育的发展提出初步设想。

| Abstract: | Art education lies in the scope of aesthetic education.Being a part of education for all-round development,it is also an import subject and routine work in the practice of quality education in police colleges.By expatiating on the concept and importance of the art education in the history of Chinese and western educations,the author made practical suggestions on how to play fully the role of the art education in the quality education of the police colleges of our country based on the analysis and observation of present status of art education in these colleges. |
