论新形势下坚持党对军队的绝对领导

新形势下强调坚持党对军队的绝对领导，其原因有四：一是军队是保证我党执政地位的首要条件；二是我军要永远保持人民军队的性质；三是一些人党的观念淡化；四是我军目前正处于大批新老干部交替的重要时期。要落实党对军队的绝对领导，必须深入系统地学习三代领导核心的有关重要论述，充分认识坚持党对军队绝对领导的极端重要性；努力增强党性观念，自觉摆正军队和党的关系；要选拔培养大批忠于党的优秀干部；当前最重要的是按十五大要求把党建设好

On Adherence to the Party's Absolute Leadership in the Army under the New Circumstances

Under the new circumstances, there are four reasons for the adherence to the Party's absolute leadership in the army. First, army is the first important factor to guarantee the Party's position of being in power. Second, our army must maintain the quality of people's army forever. Third, somebody's sense of the Party is becoming dim. And the last, at present, our army is in an important period when numbers of old cadres alternate with young ones. To implement to Party's absolute leadership in the army, we must study the important expositions of the core leaders of the three generations profoundly and systematically and fully understand the extreme importance of adherence to the Party's absolute leadership in the army, we must make efforts to increase the sense of the party spirit and to put the relations between the Party and the army in the correct position consciously, and we must select and train numbers of fine cadres who are faithful to the party. Above all, at present, the most important thing is to construct the Party well according to the requirements of the 15th National Party Congress.
