Flow and Change of the Ideological Trend of Western Philosophical Jurisprudence and Theory of International Private Law

The long standing and well established natural law thoughts provided theoretical resources for the birth of the Italian Statute Theory in the 14 th century.While Analytic Positivist Jurisprudence prevailed in a grand scale in the 19th century, the German Sitz of Legal Relationship Theory came into being at the right moment. These promoted the development of the legislation of the statutes with respect to international private law. The upsurge of sociology of law in the 20th century in the western countries provided intelligence and experience for international private law to handle conflicts of laws.
