| 摘 要： | 根据英语学习的概念、英语交际能力的有机构成,21世纪我国高校公共英语教学的目的不应该仅局限于培养学生的阅读能力,而应该把口语交际能力的培养作为教学目的的重要组成部分,调整和改革传统教学方法。

| Abstract: | The present paper discusses the notion of English learning,the organic compoments of communicative competence in Eng-lish,and holds that'College English'teaching in the21st century should not confine its purpose to developing stu dents'reading skill but should aim at the fostering of students'oral communicative competence.Teaching methods should accord ingly be adjusted and re-formed. |
