Das Scheitern der Politikwissenschaft am Bündnis für Arbeit. Eine Kritik an der Problemlösungsliteratur über das Bündnis für Arbeit

The paper confronts the German Alliance for Jobs (Bündnis für Arbeit) with the literature about the Bündnis für Arbeit. The common dominator of the literature is its bias to define the Bündnis as an instrument for problem solving on the Geman labor market. Reconstructing the emergence of the Bündnis and the conflict over voluntary retirement benefits to workers at age of 60 (Rente mit 60) the paper argues to analyze the Bündnis from the perspective of politics instead from the perspective of actor’s capacities to solve problems.
