藤田丰八与清末中国西方农学引进

清末中国开始大规模引进西方近代自然科学和实验农学。在这一过程中 ,上海农学会在西方农学论著的翻译和引进方面成就显著。尤其是农学会聘请的日本学者藤田丰八 ,负责西方农学论著的翻译和专门人才的培养工作 ,对我国经由日本引进西方近代农学 ,推广近代农业科学知识 ,促进我国传统农业的改造 ,发挥了积极重要的作用

TOYOHATI FUJITA and the Introduction of Western Agronomy into China during the Last Years of the Qing Dynasty

During the Last Years of the Qing Dynasty China began to introduce western natural science and experimental agronomy. In the process, Shanghai Agronomy Association accomplished remarkable achievements in translating and importing western agronomic articles and research works. TOYOHATI FUJITA, a Japanese scholar engaged by the association, who was in charge of translating western agronomic works and cultivating specialized talents, played an important and positive role in introducing western agronomy via Japan, popularizing modern agricultural scientific knowledge and facilitating the reform of traditional Chinese agriculture.
