The Application of Pragmatics in Cultural Translation

The essence of cultural translation is to transform the cultural information of the text of the original language accurately to the readers of the target language.In the course of translation,the translator should employ his knowledge of Pragmatics to his work.He should base on the context of the original text to explore its pragmatic force thoroughly and find out the best reference between the original text and its context by way of his own reasoning and the master of the deep implication of the culture of the original text so as to achieve the aim of transforming the information of the original text accurately to the readers of the target language.
