Role of Women and Women's Federations in Microfinance in China

This paper first defines the details of microfinance and realizes that the principle of microfinance which becomes commonly accepted in the world is to help women who are in poverty. The paper suggests that given its nature, function, networks, advantage in communicating with women and work experience over the years it is not only logical but also possible for women's federations to take up microfinance. It, in the end, proposes ways for the government to support women's federations to play an active role in microfinance.
