Socialism with Chinese Characteristics against a Globalization Background

Globalization bears the marked characteristic of the present era. Against such a background, China will face its challenges, take active part in the settlement of international questions, further open up to the outside world,play its role in international economic organizations,draw upon fine cultural achievements, keep firmly the orientation of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, never enter into the arms race,and appropriately develop its military strength.
