中国共产党与桂林抗战文化运动

桂林抗战文化运动始于上世纪三十年代初期,由于相对宽松的政治环境和方便的地理交通条件,桂林聚集了大批全国各地文化名人及民主进步人士。中国共产党积极开展统战工作,把抗战爆发前仅七万余人的桂林建设成为一个文化繁荣、民主进步气氛很浓的文化城,创造了辉煌的抗战文化成果。这场声势浩大的文化运动,激发了民众的爱国热情,为打击日本侵略者作出了贡献。
