| Abstract: | After the formal establishment of Diplomatic Relations, the relations between China and Singapore have entered a new era. Since then, what has been Chinese cognition about Singapore? What has its concern focused on? And what have been the changes and characteristics in its cognition? Through analyzing and comparing the quantitative changes of reports and articles about Singapore in National Index to Chinese Newspapers and Periodicals (1991-2003) and http://www.edu.cnki.net/ (1994-2003), thjs paper tries to take on the track of the changes in Chinese cognition of Singapore after the establishment of diplomatic relations between them. |
