Artificial intelligence,as the current cutting-edge technological achievements,challenges patent law in all aspects,including patent protection of artificial intelligence technology,patent regulation of artificial intelligence invention achievements and patent influence of artificial intelligence application tools.The compound technology structure of artificial intelligence,the nature of the legal object of artificial intelligence and the strong computing function of artificial intelligence are the causes of these three problems.Thus,we should give effective response to patent legal issues in the era of artificial intelligence by optimizing the patent protection mode of artifi cial intelligence,starting the patent regulation of independen t invention generated by artificial intelligence and establishing the patent practice guidelines for artificial intelligence application tools.
