On Restoration of Index of Government''''s Achievement( Ⅱ )

In order to implement the scientific development view and promote all-round,balanced and sustainable development of the economy and society,it is essential to change the criteria of government officials'political accomplishment.Some scholars have put forward the view that the GDP index should be replaced by a green GDP index,that is,the present GDP index should be supplemented by some environmental and social indices.The green GDP in the author's opinion,however,just brings about a temporary solution that does not target the cause of the problem,therefore it can not remedy the intrinsic flaw of the GDP index.This paper believes that the GDP index should be replaced by a GNP plus national wealth index.In addition,this paper demonstrates from ten aspects the necessity,rationality and feasibility of the replacement.
