交际对英语口语教学的启示

摘    要:当前许多高校的英语口语教学模式尚停留在较浅层面 ,教学目标也不明确 ,这是造成学生口语能力差的主要原因之一。引入交际教学法可有效改善这种状况。交际法突出口语的交际功能 ,要求教师营造贴近现实的语言环境 ,注重激发学生的主观能动性和内在交际动机 ,使学生能有目的、创造性地运用英语口语表达自己的思想和感情 ,最终获得和提高自身的交际能力。整个教学过程目标清晰 ,强调由量变到质变的渐进。

Abstract:Nowadays the modes of teaching oral English in many universi ties are s till on a low level, and their aims are not clear enough either. That is the may cause of students' poor oral communicative competence.. The application of comm unicative approach in teaching is helpful to improve this situation. The appro ach can make full use of communicative function of oral English and it requires that teachers should create language environment which is close to real life. T hey should focus on stimulating students' activeness and internal motivation s o that they can express their ideas and feelings with oral English, with certain aim and creativeness , and finally improve their communicative ability . During the course of teaching, there is a clear aim and a gradual process in which changes take place from amount to quality.
