Trade Union Issues in the Process of the American South's Grown Up in the Postwar Period

It is one of the important changes in the history of economic and social development of the US that the American South prospered during the postwar period.Lower trade union density was a main point that southern states attracted investment and boosted economic growth.However,economic growth did not encourage the development of trade union.Major causes of poor trade union include cultural tradition,races relations,industrial structure and trade union's mistakes. Conspiracy between local government of southern states and the business circles blocked trade union's development politically.Poor trade union system impacted on the growth of wages and welfare of southern workers at the same time of boosting the growth of investment and service trades in the American South.
