| Abstract: | The article analyzes and explores the word structure and the word formation and its semantic motivation from the aspect of metaphor, which reveals the psychological basis about the word structure and the word formation and its semantic traits. The purpose of the study is to help students better comprehend the word meanings and master the pattern of the word formation and the word extension to improve the students' ability of taming vocabulary. |
