With the rapid development of international trade,letter of credit has become one of the main payment terms in the raternational trade,and it is also hailed as the ＂international trade lifeline＂.However,since the letter of credit appeared,fraud in letter of credit is a common occurrence.Especially in recent years,with the rapid growth of world trade,fraud in letter of credit has continued to increase.The means of fraud in letter of credit are becoming more and more concealed ,and large amounts of money involved in it.So it has bad influence on international trade.Therefore ,studying fraud in letter of credit and putting forward relevant prevention suggestions are significant.
