事实与价值难以二分的原因探究

休谟认为从对事实的描述是中是无法推演出规范性陈述应该的。休谟问题在西方哲学界引起了广泛的争论,但终究未能破解。社会科学研究的社会性事实毕竟不同于自然事实,它是由社会所规定。在社会性事实中语言、观察者的意向性本身就已成为事实的一部分,从而也导致事实与价值难以二分。在意识形态领域、学术研究、政府决策中区分事实与价值具有重要意义。

An Analysis of the Causes of Entanglement of Facts and Values

Hume thought the factual satements which discribe how the world is cannot deduce value judgements which prescribe how the world ought to be. Hume＇s problem is debated among the Western philosophers, but ultimately it is not solved. The social fact in the social sciences researches, after all, is different with the natural fact, which is provided by the society. In the social facts of language, the observer＇s intention itself has become a part of facts, which also lead to the fact that the two points of fact and value is difficult. The distinction between facts and values is still of great significance in the ideological field, academic research and government decision-making.
