扬弃传统政治文化增强党内民主意识

中国传统政治文化中的君主民本、三纲五常、内圣外王等专制思想，以及民惟邦本、修身内省、集体主义等优良传统，对党员民主意识的发展都有着不可低估的重要影响：当前，我们要肃清君主民本思想，增强主权在民意识；批判三纲五常思想，健全权利义务观念；破除内圣外王思想，提高法治监督意识。我们通过这些手段将主权在民理念与民惟邦本传统、法治监督思想与修身内省传统、个人权利意识与集体主义传统结合起来，为积极推进党内民主建设和社会主义民主政治发展奠定坚实的思想文化基础。

Discarding Traditional Political Culture Enhancing the Awareness of Intra-Party Democracy

Enhancing the awareness of intra-Party democracy is an important component part of expanding intra-Party democracy and also one of the goals of the party＇ s progress. Both autocratic ideologies and fine traditions in traditional Chinese political culture have quite some influence upon enhancing the awareness of intra-Party democracy. In view of the fact, we should keep the essence of traditional culture and discard its dross so as to enhance Party members＇ awareness of intra-Party democracy and lay ideological and cultural foundations for expanding intra-Party democracy and developing socialist democracy.
