Comparative Studies of Legal Regulation of Genetically Modified Food

Genetically modified food's safety is controversial since its birth.In the aspect of legal regulation of GM food,two groups led respectively by the United States and the European Union have sharply different approaches on the fundamental ideas of regulation,specific methods of regulation and attitudes toward consumers'right to know.They also have serious conflict in the international trade of GM food.Comparing and analyzing the legal regulation regimes of the two groups can provide reference to the relative legislation of our country.
