近几十年来,一场以非营利组织为主体的结社革命正影响和席卷着中国大地,在全球及我国民间组织发展的大背景下,妇女中的精英和积极分子率先组织起来,成立了各种妇女组织,其中,更能体现专业性、行业性、草根性的民间妇女组织自1995年前后出现以来更是快速成长,并在维护妇女权益、解决婚姻家庭和贫困问题等方面发挥了重要作用.但目前民间妇女组织面临的经费不足、缺乏专业管理人才和完善的管理机制、缺乏监督、缺乏社会公信度和影响力等问题严重制约了其发展,所以,在我国公民社会兴起发展的大环境下,探索民间妇女组织如何通过社会资本的建构提高资源动员能力、创造良好的发展环境已成为重要的研究课题.
