On the Political Struggle between Yamagata Cabinet and Minntou

Although Japanese Liberal Party centered in Jiyuutou was widely accused by all circles for its compromise policy, it held on the pragmaticism and contended with Yamagata cabinet so strictly and skillfully that it displayed the strong power of Minntou. On the other hand, Yamagata cabinet had to accept the government＇s resolution case to reduce 7.5% annual expenditure budget, which showed the unprecedented loss of this cabinet.
