| Abstract: | X-chromosome typing is widely used in sex determination and paternity testing involving a female child in forensic practice. This paper reviews the theories, methods and advantages of sex determination by X-chromosome typing in the field of cytology and molecular biology. The future of X-chromosome's applications and advanced methods are also discussed. |
