本文结合着玄学思潮的背景，从新的视角深入透析了《答司马宣王时事议》。提出，正始名士所发动的正始改制，实为中国历史上一次极不寻常的改革。它以玄学“无为而治”的理念为指导，针对名教之治的弊端，具体推出了调整选官标准、裁并行政建置、简化官场排场等三大措施，企图对人们已然习惯的体制结构提出挑战。改制的深刻内容及其所触动的利益关系，难免引发尖锐的政治冲突。其结局便是政归司马氏的“高平陵之变”。所以说，“高平陵之变”并非一场简单的权力之争。

Political Ambition of Zhengshi Mingshi:An Analysis of Xia Hou-xuan''''s Response to Sima Xuanwang''''s Current Affairs

Against the background of metaphysics thoughts,the paper analyzes Response to Sima Xuanwang's Current Affairs from a new perspective,and holds that Zhengshi Mingshi's reformation is an extremely unusual move in China's history,which advocated some specific standards of leaders,reducing and combining administrative systems and institutions,simplifying officials ostentation and extravagance with the guidance of"doing nothing in management"in metaphysics.Inevitably,such radical reformation and the subsequent change of beneficial relationship resulted in an acute political conflict,the so-called "Gaopingling reform".Hence,this reform can't be regarded as a simplified conflict of powers.
