| 摘 要： | 由于各种复杂的原因 ,各国对于卖淫活动的认识和态度存在很大的差异。通过比较英(英格兰和威尔士 )、美、澳、意、日等国家对于卖淫的社会和法律定义以及原因分析 ,可以使人们能够全面地认识卖淫现象 ,同时 ,也有助于进一步探求警察在治理卖淫活动中的作用。

| Abstract: | Prostitution is very common all over the world in both ancient and modern times, but people's recognition of and attitude to it is greatly different for many reasons. In view of this, the comparison of the legal and social definitions of prostitution among those countries, such as British(including England and Wales), America, Australia, Italy, Japan and so on, can further people's understanding completely , as well as help know the functions of police in the prevention of prostitution activities. |
