| Abstract: | By analyzing the relationship between culture and language and the negative effects of the Instrument Theory upon foreign language teaching, the article puts forward that foreign language teaching should be guided by the Cultural inguistic Approach. On the basis of this, it also suggests the principles and approaches that should be followed in foreign language teaching. |
