Sociological Research on the Local Autonomy of Tianjin in Late Qing Dynasty

The local autonomy institution of Tianjin has very important relation to the modern executive system.It not only was an important part of the administrative departments of Tianjin,but also had judicial function.From the bill,we found the parliament of Tianjin also investigated the public property and intervened with the economic policies.Meanwhile,it played a great role on such public welfare as urban constitution and so on.
