Perfecting the Ethnic Regional Autonomy System and Speeding Up Economic Development in Ethnic Minority Regions

Ethnic regional autonomy is the creation of the CPC's combining ethnic autonomy with regional autonomy on the basis of basic Marxist - Leninist principles of ethnic affairs and China' s realities. This system is the reflection of all ethnic groups' equality and unity as well as the basic policy for resolving China's questions. It is important to perfect the system,so as to maintain social stability and ensure smooth economic construction in the ethnic minority region.
