| 摘 要： | 高校是培育创新精神和创新人才的重要基地。在高校英语教学中培养学生创造性思维能力是可行的。教师在教学中应努力创设有效的氛围,采取适当的方法,培养学生的创新意识,发展学生的创新思维能力。

| Abstract: | Institutions of higher learning is an important base of fostering spirit of creation and training qualified people with creative thinking. It is feasible to foster the students'competence in creative thinking in English teaching. Teachers should create favorable conditions and take proper measures to foster the students'spirit of creation and develop the students' competence in creative thinking. |
