Bring Gender into Family Studies in Sociology

The modern sociology of the family started with functionalism raised by Talcott Parsons and William Goode.And then,it evolved into individualization and sociology of personal life.Since the new century began,the introduction of gender,feminist and intersectional perspective has expanded family studies.All of the three perspectives focus on the gender inequality and justice,but there are inner nuances and complements among them.Their theoretical paradigms and academic standpoints contribute to the production of knowledge in family studies,and positively influence public policies.
