| 摘 要： | 留学英国 从19世纪70年代起,特别是第一次世界大战以后,在中国兴起了一股强劲而持久的"留学热"--到西方去学习先进的科学文化,用于重振祖国.其间虽因世界战争或其他障碍而时有中断,但只要一有条件,这股"热"就又兴盛起来,可以说,已持续了一个多世纪.这种现象,很像中国古典小说<西游记>里所说的故事:"西天取经".
