He chairs the Thomas A. Pitts Memorial Lectureship in Medical Ethics Planning Committee. He currently serves as Associate Editor for Ethics of the Annals of Thoracic Surgery and as Medical Director of Lifepoint, South Carolina's organ procurement organization. He is a member of the Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs of the American Medical Association. |
