Birmingham School's Early Feminist Studies

Feminist studies of the Birmingham School were a pioneer in worldwide feminist studies,charting a direction for the follow-ing feminist studies.Birmingham School feminists argued that women's subordination was structural and encompassed economic,po-litical and cultural subordination.Women's subordination has roots in the notion that women were closer to nature.Women's subordi-nation had many aspects,including media construction,state construction and women's self-construction.
