With no vocal training, he is what you would call an ＂original,＂ a natural-born singer. Today he is a veteran song-maker, traveling across the Country collecting Manchu ballads and singing them out to people around him. He never had any formal Manchu language training either, but he＇s able to talk with Manchu elders in the countryside in northeast China with no difficulty whatsoever.
