新时期党建工作应遵循的三个标准

江泽民同志在“七一”讲话中,围绕在新的历史条件下进一步增强党的阶级基础和扩大党的群众基础这一重大课题,提出了三个标准,即看一个政党是不是工人阶段先锋队的主要标准、吸收新党员的主要标准和判断人们政治上先进与落后的标准。正确把握和坚持江泽民同志提出的三个标准,弄清党的先锋队性质与党员成分的关系、党员标准与党员成分的关系、我国现阶段人们的财产状况与政治态度的关系,对于我们在新形势下切实加强和改进党的建设,增强党的阶级基础和扩大党的群众基础具有重要意义。

Three Criteria for the Construction of the Chinese Communist Party in New Stage

President Jiang Ze min, centering on the important subject for further strengthening class basis and expanding mass basis of the Chinese Communist Party under the new condition, put forward three criteria in his "7.1" speech. They are critical criteria for judging whether a political Party is working- class pioneer, for admitting new Party members, and for judging whether a person is active in politics. Thoroughly grasping what president Jiang said-clearly understanding the relations between the Party's pioneer characteristic and the Party members' status, the relations between the Party members' criteria and the Party members' status, the relations between people's property and their political attitude at present, and correctly understanding and adhering to the Three criteria, are significant for us to enhance the Party's construction, strengthen the Party's class basis and expand the mass basis.
