论中国历史上的蝗灾及其社会影响

中国历史上曾发生过多次蝗灾，其地域分布主要集中在今河北、河南、山东三省，陕西、山西、江苏、安徽、湖北等省也有较多的分布。这些蝗灾不但对历代的农业生产造成了很大的危害，而且引发了众多的饥荒、疾疫乃至社会大动乱。在蝗灾的防治上，中国古代一直存在着科学与迷信的斗争；随着时代的进步和科学知识的普及，科学逐渐战胜了迷信。

In the history of China,plagues of locusts have broken out many times,which are distributed mainly over Hebei Province,Henan Province,and Shandong Province.Besides,there are also relatively more distributions over Shanxi Province,Shanxi Province,Jiangsu Province,Anhui Province,and Hubei Province.The plagues not only damaged agricultural production through ages,but also led to famine,brought about epidemic disease,and even caused social upheaval.On the prevention and control of the plagues of locusts,there were always struggles between science and superstition in ancient China.However,with time progressing and scientific knowledge spreading,science has triumphed over superstition step by step
